Ive seen some reviews where people say Fifteen minutes to assemble? Try fifteen hours! (Paraphrasing of course) This couch has a total of 9 pieces (if you count the screw on feet as four of the pieces) and has instructions that I believe had 6 steps. Im recovering from pneumonia and I assembled two of these in under 30 minutes by myself.
I gave it 4 stars for comfort because Im 58 and I cant quite stretch out on it AND when seated upright, the arms are about 2 inches too low so if I want to rest my forearm on it I feel like I have to lean a bit. On the other hand, it opened up a ton of space in my tiny living room.
One thing that Im concerned could be a problem down the line is that there aretwo seat cushions that are not removeable. While technically being two cushions, theyre sewn together in the middle. This is going to be a stress point when two people are sitting on this couch at the same time (incidentally, this couch is comfortable for 3 skinny people or 2 larger people.) I can see that stitching pulling loose over time. Im glad I got the 5 year furniture protection plan.
I just got it today, so Ill have to update 6 months in, but It took me less than 30 mins to put together if that. Its super simple and good for small apartments or houses! It is pretty firm, but I dont mind especially for how much it cost! Also, it matches my other couch!

PACKAGING:
Everything came in one box. Well/delivered, no damages to the box. What came out first was the back frame and the bottom piece. Inside the bottom piece you see a sticker that said, We Are Here! which was where the arm boards, cushions, and pegs were.
ASSEMBLY:
The manual recommends two people to set it up (and honestly that wouldve been better, but I was too excited and set it up myself). The manual was incredibly easy to follow and the arm boards showed L and R pieces. For the pieces to go together, you just needed to slip together the arm boards, back piece, and bottom piece with metal pieces For the legs, you only needed to screw them into a hole (no screwdriver needed).
For the back cushions, theres Velcro (already covered by fabric you can easily remove). The back cushion also seems to have a zipper for the pillow inside.
COLOR:
Just as pictured beautiful as I didnt want a solid gray. Please take a look at the last picture for reference.
COMFORT:
(User preference, as Im okay with things slightly firm)

Also think about how this is NEW from the box. I feel like it still needs to break in, so it may become softer over time.

This sofa loveliness is classy, elegant and beautiful in its simplicity. It looks pricier and superior to its more expensive counterparts. It was a purchased treat to myself. I did good (smile). The look can be changed by using different colored throws and/or pillows, thus having a different sofa based on the season changes. I would purchase another if I had the space for it. does it again, well!

Its packed very well in a box/inside the bottom of the sofa seat. Its in my daughters room, and it easily fits two adults.
Its sturdier than many pieces of pre/assembled furniture, and didnt come apart by itself when moved around the room.

Not easy to clean
It is a comfortable couch but stains will NOT come out easily.
