Solid frame. While assembling, some liquid thread lock is advised. It will become wobbly over time. This little trick keeps this loft more sturdy. We've had ours for 2 years and it's still going strong. And I've even slept in it. I'm 6'1 180 lbs and it has no problems supporting dad.
We love this twin bed. Very strudy, made from pine wood- not just particle board. This is a very nice bed, especially at this pricepoint. My concerns were which size mattress to go with. I went for the 6 and im glad I did (but will totally work with a 8 or 9 as well) for me I like having he extra couple inches railing exposed because my little guy isn't even 3 yet (next month) and my other concerns was would I be able to use a memory foam without a bunkie board and the answer is yes. We don't have any extra support and we haven't had anything break, even with my toddler jumping on the bed. (Not yet anyway) This bed was one of the easiest pieces of furniture I've assembled and directions were clear. So all in all we were highly impressed with this bed.
The slide broke on the first week, I contact the seller and they replaced right away! I have the bed for more than 3 months, the kids love it, and I do too! I recommend!!
Seems to be good quality, my son loves it. If I was to have only one complaint it would be that the ladder and slides are not interchangeable. I would like to swap the slide and ladder location to better utilize room layout.
For the most part, we love this bed. It was relatively easy to put together. I did it mostly by myself and my husband helped hold up some of the pieces while I screwed them together. For one of the steps, we could have really used a third person but our daughter was not old enough to help. It took us a while to complete that step.
The bed itself seems pretty sturdy. I feel pretty safe sleeping in the bed myself. Our daughter loves the bed and can't wait to sleep in it. She's still a little too young for it so we're having her wait. We got this bed mostly to give us more floor space and she doesn't sleep in her toddler bed anyway. So for now, she plays in the bed during the day and is getting use to it.
The one major complaint I have is that the bed came with some cracks (see pictures) on one of the posts and on the side rail of the ladder. Not sure if they got damaged during shipping or was already cracked before they were put into the box and nobody noticed/cared. We are looking into how to fix this issue before it gets worse.
Another minor complaint I have is that the bed slates are a little too far apart for my liking. I'm fine if I'm just lying down on the bed, but when I'm making the bed, I don't feel as safe.

Height suitable for toddlers. I put a thin twin mattress underneath for my 2.5 years old and it works great
Even dad likes it!
