It is not easy to change the sheets on this bed

My son says, aming bed. He loves his new bed. It wasnt hard to put together. But let me give you two warnings: 1. It is not easy to change the sheets on this bed. 2. If your child gets sick, it can be hard to take care of them, given they are laying 5 ft in the air.

Nice bed, fairly easy to assemble with 2 people, took 2hrs and a grandma to come over and watch the 2 kiddos under 2.a few pinned fingers later done. A new space saving .albeit a big wiggly and creaky loft bed. seriously though our daughter (11) loves it. Paired it Witt an ikea mattress

    Absolutely wonderful!

So I absolutely love this bed! Ive had a twin bed up until this point ( I am almost 18 years old) and the first think I absolutely love is the space! It wasnt too terribly difficult to put together; it took myself and my 15 year old sister about 2 and a half hours and about a half an hour the next day for the desk. At first I was concerned about the wobbling because I have a 5 year old little brother but he climbs on it up and down all day long. I guess he loves it just as much as I do! I also live in a trailer and the bed isnt to talk for my ceilings which I am very grateful for. Im about 52 and can comfortably lay in this bed without worrying about bumping my head. I also weigh about 150 pounds and I feel like it hold weight very well even with me and my little brother up there. All in all, I wanted the bed so I could have my own little private work/space for when I start college and i feel as if it has give me that and so much more. Although there was one hold during the entire building process that the screw didnt line up, but it wasnt anywhere important so I didnt worry about it. I would definitely recommend this bed to anyone that just wants their own comfortable space ( I share a room with my sister so this was a must for me). Ive had this bed for a little under 2 weeks so I hope it lasts me a very long time.

    need high ceiling

Bought for youngest with smallest bedroom. Was easy to put together / parts were all there and instructions were easy to follow. I was able to assemble in a little over an hour with a little help / easier and faster if 2 people work together. There werent any sharp edges and my son had no problems getting up and down. We did cut out pool noodles and duct taped them to the ladder rungs as some suggested and it was simple enough to do. We got a 7 firm gel memory foam bed and there was plenty of room for the rail guard to prevent falling off. Desk is solid and he actually looks forward to doing homework there. Suggest that you make sure you have high enough ceilings. Also plan out where the frame goes as the ladder can be situated someplace easy to get on and off of. There are only 2 spots and they cant be put anywhere else.

but it was sturdy and had a nice shelf

The bed was very time/consuming to put together, even with 2 peoplebut it was sturdy and had a nice shelf. However, the full mattress comes perfectly aligned with the top bar, so there is no real guardrail. Even though my son is 11, It was very troubling for me (and for him too).that all it would take would be one time for him to roll over the wrong way in his sleep, and it would be a serious fall. He would sleep on the other side of the bed to avoid any anxiety, but as a momit was too much. A bed should bring comfort and alleviate safety concerns. I would think twice!

A little too tall for homes built before 2000

I think anyone over 150lbs would be more susceptible to its twists and shakes

The structural rigidity of this bed fully assembled and tightened is not that good. I feel it twists too much. While this will be our young daughters bed and will not be a problem for her, I think anyone over 150lbs would be more susceptible to the twists and shakes. Still, I dont think it should twist as much. Perhaps a couple more key supports would of made it better. Note. One of the bars that are used to hold the mattress in was too long, it looked the same as the others, but when put side by side, it was about an inch or 2 too long. I contacted the company via their website and they shipped out a replacement piece in less then a day! very impressed.
