It was easy to put together by myself and it fit into my small space perfectly. It is a bit stiff but getting softer with time, you will NOT sink into and get lost in the cushions. I have had it for over a month and it is holding up fine, although I do have a blanket over it because my dog sheds crazy-like and it doesn't show on the blanket as much as it would on the sofa. The blanket is also easier to throw in the washing machine to clean! UPDATE - sofa leg just broke on me. I guess I should not be surprised the amount paid... now I need a new couch
