I want to address the bad reviews first. This couch is advised as a small couch and is therefore a small couch. If you expect lots of legroom you need to read the dimensions and realize the couch is exactly the dimensions advertised.
Next you need 2 people to put this together. I tried alone but to get the ends on you need a second person. Also read the instructions carefully. Everything slides together easy and each piece is marked for it's location. If the piece isn't sliding easily you are doing something wrong. Check the directions.
This couch came in time in a single box. It fits perfect in my condo. It is very comfortable and the cushions and back are on the firm side. However cushions soften over time so I consider this a good thing. I weigh 200lbs and my wife and I can both sit together on this couch just fine. It holds sturdy when put together. The microfiber feels nice and soft. It sits at a comfortable height and I don't sink into the seats. This makes getting up and down easy. I'm 6'2" and I can lay on the couch with my feet on the edge. The arm rest are low. I prefer it, but you may not.
TL:DR: Quality is great for the price point. Couch is as described.
