It came with instructions easy to follow and took me one hour and half to set it up by myself. Comfortable and perfect for an apartment. Me, my wife and my 2 kids. Sofa is sturdy enough, just don't go up there and start jumping. Love the ottoman, I can move it anywhere of the sofa and lay my feet on it and relax and read book.

One friendly advise, if you weight more than 200 pounds, I recommend adding extra legs or floor bench to place in the middle of the sofa, that way it won't bend overtime. Sofa is sturdy enough for me but I weigh lot less than 200 pounds, so I'm not sure if it sturdy enough for more than that, even though it advertised that can hold up to 300 lbs.
