It’s an average couch, I fell asleep on it three times since I got it and no issue with my back!! The seat part is a little stiff but the back is cushioned . I’m a 20 year old woman who lives alone and let me tell you to get it up the stairs was painful, taking things out first and then bringing it up was definitely better Putting it together wasn’t too bad, I would 100% recommend 2 people to make it easier. I love my new couch and so do my cats !! The material is like a suede/velvet, and I actually dropped something on it and cleaned it with soap and water and it did not leave a stain or weird texture, very happy about that. The side parts I still can’t figure out, they just don’t screw or slide in Im not sure why but they’re fine without being installed, I’d say order it. The size is great and the back is soft, super easy to fall asleep on and a gorgeous addition to your home.
