Once assembled, these chairs were sturdy snd comfortable to sit in. They are attractive and certainly add to the looks of my dining room. They were easy to assemble, but one chair has a leg shorter than the others, so that it is not quite level. Two chairs ( I purchased 6) had poor stitching in a couple of places. I have not had time to contact vendor about this, as my house is in middle of remodeling project and we are also getting close to Christmas.
