The shower head threads are made of plastic and broke during installation. Our contractor had installed the unit and covered everything with kurdi board / even mudded the wall in preparation for tiling, before attaching the shower head. At this point we will not be removing what has been installed so we can return the unit, so have absorbed the loss. We have purchased a different unit just to get a new shower head. Lesson learned for me, you get what you pay for and in the end it will end up costing more. Take a hard pass on this item.
