I wanted an outdoor chaise for reading and sunning in the yard. This fits the bill up to a certain degree. It's sturdy although not as well-made as I first thought. One of the screws that braces/locks the footrest into place fell out on one side and is now missing the bolt that kept it in place, so the brace now just hangs there. The other side is still fine so the footrest is currently staying in place.. The round plastic bolt cap that covers the left side bolt that attaches the back to the seat popped off because the plastic piece that snaps into place is broken. Both of these things happened immediately after unpacking it as I was trying to sell my husband on what a well-made, sturdy chair it was for the $135 price tag. I'll keep it but was disappointed.
