Well the chairs come 2 to a box and they are packaged quite well. Base is shiny chrome and with 4 bolts they went together quite easily. Overall they look fantastic - we bought 6 - and you cant beat the price!
BEWARE - follow the instructions and take the black protector cap off of the hydraulic lift before setting the chair onto it, otherwise it gets stuck in the chair and the adjustment handle wont work - I had to take the chair off of the base and pound it out. Completely my fault - the instructions say to remove it, but Im a guy and we dont need instructions!
The chairs swivel on the hydraulic arm so I will be interested to see how long they last. They are fairly sturdy and will soon be put to the test of the holiday family rush.
Overall I think they are a great buy.
