Quality and workmanship okay, but seating comfort leaves a lot to be desired
I received these stylish bar stools for free as part of the Vine/program to try out. The chairs are delivered securely packaged as a kit and assembly takes some time and craftsmanship. I really like the look of these bar stools and the black metal and hard plastic seats go well with the walnut countertop in my kitchen. Unfortunately, these chairs are not very comfortable because they have an ergonomically shaped saddle seat, but it is very hard. Armrests and (much more important) a backrest are completely missing. But these stools are rotatable, have a footrest and are height-adjustable thanks to the gas pressure spring. When extended, however, they wobble a bit. Theyre okay for a quick breakfast in the kitchen or to sit down and chop vegetables. But I wouldnt receive guests on these bar stools, you just dont sit comfortably enough on these chairs. The price is reasonable and the quality of the materials and workmanship seems fine to me.
